Once the sliding glass door rollers are loose enough to remove gently pull them out from the door.
How to remove roller from sliding glass door.
This video will show you how to replace the wheels rollers on a sliding glass patio door.
Make sure to remove the rollers from both sides of the door.
Remove the door from the track by grasping it with both hands on both sides.
Determine the type of roller you need.
To access and remove rollers on sliding panel unscrew stiles side components of aluminum frame.
Remove this cap because as you ll notice it is covering a gap inside of which is a screw.
On the bottom edge of the door you ll notice a cap.
Open the door and ask your helper to slightly lift the screen door.
Once unscrewed at top and bottom gently knock a block of wood against the frame with a hammer as shown in the picture below.
Lift one end of the frame and use a screwdriver or stiff putty knife to lift the bottom rollers from the track.

Determine the size of the screwdriver you ll need reach back into the gap with your screwdriver and adjust that screw counter clockwise as far as it will go.
If your sliding glass doors don t have the screen door then you may move on to the next step.
Do this at top and bottom until stile comes off should be left with glass edge in rubber boot.
Lift the door up.
Place the screen doors safely off to the side until you are ready to put them back.
Grasp both sides of the frame and lift the door up off of its tracks.
First lift the rollers off the track by sliding a flat head screwdriver or putty knife under the roller and pushing up.
Swing the bottom of the door toward your body and lower the door out of the track.
In order to access the glass door units first remove the screen door if you have one.
To remove the screen door use a flathead screwdriver.
